Family Group Conference Vacancy

A Family Group Conference Support Worker is required to work across Blackpool with a wide variety of families and young people, completing an intensive piece of work to enable families and young people to put together their own plan that will safeguard and promote their welfare and be empowered to have their voices heard.

Following appropriate training there will be an expectation that the post holder will chair Family Group Conferences and Family Group Conference Reviews.
The post holder will need to be self-motivated, creative and confident in their approach with families and young people.
This is a fast moving service with a high turnover of cases. There is a large amount of administration involved that requires accurate record keeping. You must be able to work within a small team. You must be able to work to tight deadlines and be flexible in meeting the needs and the demands of the individual families and young people we work with. You will be required to work out of hours and on occasions travel around the Northwest Region.

Salary: £22,221 - £25,472 per annum
