This course explores the dynamic of family support and how to empower families to support the transition from lock up to community using the combined forces of Restorative Conference and Family Group Conference.

  • The use of private time
  • Balancing the needs of the offender, the victim, family and community
  • Group work skills
  • Introducing the concept into practice and the skills to facilitate Restorative meetings with or without the victims present
